(1 Timothy 3:1-16)
When we read 1 Timothy 3, we encounter what appears to be a list of qualifications for leadership in the church. But what if there's something much bigger that Paul wants us to understand about who we are as God's people?
Melinda Cousins from BCSANT explores Paul's instructions to Timothy and what they reveal about the church as God's household.
What does it mean to belong to this household? And how does that shape the way we live, serve and relate to one another?
Join us as we explore what it means to play our part in God's family.
This series equips the church in the practices of following Jesus with intentionality. Topics such as speech, worship, leadership in the home, visibility in witness, Christian maturity, and generosity help believers grow in character and competency. The tone is practical and encouraging - a gentle training ground for everyday discipleship, but also a platform to talk about the importance of applying truth in context.
