Proverbs 3:5-6 | Matthew 26:36-46
What does it really mean to trust God?
It’s easy to say we trust Him when life is going well. But what about when the future is uncertain, suffering is real, or God’s path seems difficult?
In this message from our Wisdom in Practice series, we explore one of the Bible’s most well-known passages - Proverbs 3:5-6 - and see it lived out perfectly in Jesus’ prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane. Together we’ll discover that:
* Everyone puts their trust in something.
* We submit to the God whom we know.
* The straight path isn’t always the easy path.
Ultimately, God doesn’t call us to have all the answers - He calls us to trust a trustworthy God.
