Tonight we are continuing our Complex Parables series with the 3 parable in a set - The parable of the lost sons. In this message Mike unpacks the unfair forgiveness that is demonstrated by God to us, and the cause for celebration that is.
As we read through the Gospels we see Jesus employing the use of parables regularly as he taught. Stories that helped to get his point across using the images and ideas of the time.
While at first glance some of these parables seem to have a simple conclusion, often there is complexity layered into what Jesus was teaching.
Over the next 3 weeks we will be exploring 3 of these complex parables and what they mean for us today
