Shoes of the Gospel

(Ephesians 6:10–17; Romans 10:14–15) What does it mean to be ready for a spiritual battle? In this message, we explore Paul’s image of the “shoes of the gospel of peace” and why the gospel is both our defence against the enemy’s lies and good news we carry to others. Join us as we consider how to stand firm, respond with truth, and keep our shoes ready for the people God has placed around us.

From Series: "Armour of God"

Drawing from the imagery of Ephesians 6 but with reference to a different primary text, this series explores each piece of the armour Paul encourages believers to “put on”: the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the Spirit. Rather than abstract metaphors, each week offers practical formation - learning how truth stabilises us, righteousness protects, peace guides our steps, faith extinguishes fear, salvation secures our identity, and Scripture equips us for discernment and action.
