The Beast and His Mark
(Revelation 13:1-18) Revelation is full of strange images, but they were not given simply to satisfy curiosity about the future. They were written to strengthen faithfulness in the present. In Revelation 13, John describes beasts, marks and the number 666. Rather than chasing speculation, this message explores what these images revealed about empire, allegiance and deception, and how Christians can recognise counterfeit kingdoms when they appear. Join us as we consider what it means to remain faithful to Jesus when other powers compete for our allegiance.

This series introduces the church to the apocalyptic imagination of Revelation. Beginning with an orientation to the nature of apocalyptic literature, the messages then walk through the letters to the churches, the throne and the Lamb, spiritual conflict and the beast, the victorious Saviour, and the New Jerusalem.
