Church Camp 2026
ASBC Church Camp at Ross River Resort is all set for the Picnic Day weekend: Saturday 1st August – Monday 3rd August.
We know that people have different styles and rhythms when they are camping, and our desire is to create a fun atmosphere for us to spend time as a Church family. So whether you are new to ASBC, or have been here for a while we would love to have you join us for this awesome event.
This year at camp we have:
– Exclusive access to the Ross River Resort
– Great opportunities to connect and build relationships with church family
– A great Camp Church service on Sunday morning
– A Kids Program on Saturday & Sunday to give parents/carers a break
– Plus more to be announced as camp approached!
A program will be shared closer to camp with some of the great things planned.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who Can Come?
EVERYONE! If ASBC is your church family, whether for the last two weeks or last twenty years, we’d love to have you out at Ross River with us as part of this church-wide event!
When Is It?
Camp is formally kicking off at 11am on Saturday August 1st, but if you can’t make it out for then, we’ll see you when you get there.
This year there is an option to arrive Friday night for those who want to be prepared and ready for the Saturday
Camp then ends on Monday August 3rd after breakfast, and clean up.
What are we eating?
Generally this is both a self-catered camp, with a shared meal space.
We have exclusive use of the Camp Kitchen and Function Room for food preparation and cooking.
To help build our sense of community, during camp we want to encourage people to come and eat lunch together for the sense of community as well.
We also have some shared meals planned!
- Saturday night is a Pot Luck Dinner; everyone brings something to share to eat together
(and it’s Saturday night so you can prepare before you come if you wanted!) - Sunday night Church will provide a BBQ dinner after the Bush dance
- Monday morning – There will be a delicious pancake breakfast available
So it’s a bit of a mix!
What If I Don’t Have A Tent/Swag/Camper?
There are bunks available, but must be booked per individual, rather than per group.
Can I Come For Part Of It?
Absolutely you can!
We would love it if people can come for the full experience, but we know that life is busy. We have Day Pass tickets available for Saturday or Sunday, as well as Single night options for camping. We want this to be a blessing, not a burden!
Is there A Program Available?
We will release a program for the camp soon! We are just finalising some of the events before we release the details.
Are there sessions this year?
This camp will have opportunities for spiritual input and engagement, but it is also focussed on helping to create community and a sense of fun. We will have times of elective activities, campfire conversations and share in Church together on the Sunday morning. We have tried to ensure it is a balanced program. We think you’ll enjoy your time!
What’s the go with the Kids Program?
This year we have a kids program planned for Saturday afternoon (in the elective activities) and again on Sunday afternoon. This will be led by Iain and a team of volunteers and be an opportunity for fun camp games, engagement and relationship building. As well it is a chance for parents to have a break!
What ‘Elvective Activities’ are there?
On Saturday afternoon we have space for some Elective Activities. We don’t have these fully planned yet, but will be reaching out to people over the next few weeks to see if they would like to run something!
