I came to know the love and grace of God when I was twenty and studying civil engineering. I completed my degree and worked as a consulting engineer for 8 years before starting study at Theological college in response to God’s leading in my life. I trained at the Baptist college in Adelaide and was ordained as a minister of the Baptist Union of Churches. We began ministry here in the Alice at the beginning of 2001 after serving 8 years at our previous church. My driving passion in pastoral ministry is to see the local church become all that God wants her to be. I believe that more and more the church exists in a missional environment, even in our western ‘Christian’ society. Yet God’s call to us is to be His family, to be living out our lives in a high degree of relationship and interaction with one another. I do not believe that the church is called to be a specialized group but an expression of the diversity of God. I’m an ordinary Australian bloke and I seek to express my faith, through my life and ministry, in ways that relate to other ordinary Australians. I hope you get an opportunity to
come and see for yourself what God has been and is doing in this remote part
of His great family, we’d love
to see you.
