Prison Ministry

This ministry is part of the town-wide efforts to have visitation at the Alice Springs Prison. The team goes out every 7 weeks to visit, preach, teach, pray and worship with believers and non-believers who are currently in prison. Each time is a slightly different experience but every time is an opportunity to share the love of God and the hope of repentance and lives changed by Christ. Relay for Life

This fundraising event is a community staple here in Alice Springs. The event raises funds for cancer research and it is a great opportunity for the church to participate in our community. We have had teams participate in the event for years and have actually been the highest fundraising team several years in a row. We love participating in the events and we love showing the community our commitment to them.

Alice Springs Show Stall

With winter setting-in in Alice springs, July is a great time to get out and about and have some fun! The Alice Springs show is just such an event and we as a church are happy to be a part of such an important town event. We have run a food stall for many years at the show, for a long time it was a sausage sandwich and snack stall but this year we tried a coffee shop stall. We provide seating and use the time to meet and greet those who come to the show. We take every opportunity to build relationships with people and to share the love of Christ through a smile and g’day.

Kid’s Hope

Kid's Hope is a mentoring program that we are a part of in cooperation with World Vision and Braitling Primary School. The program connects caring adults with kids who slip through the cracks at school, and sometimes at home. The program is designed simply to help those kids find a consistent and caring relationship with an adult who has time to invest in them. This is our first year running the program through our church and we are very excited to see the things that God is doing through this opportunity.
