Bizarre Bazaar

We are getting ready for ‘Bizarre Bazaar’ which is happening Saturday 12^th May

Here are some ways we can all get involved….

· Please consider propagating your plants to donate to the plant stall or clearing out your cupboards and shed to get ready for the white elephant stall and the book stall (hold onto your things for now)

Please join Ming Fang, Tyler and others for prayer on Sunday mornings from 9:00-9:30am in the Creche.

We are joining together to pray for the pastoral search team and our future pastor, as well as the people who are ill in our church family and community. If you would like to be prayed for or know of others who need prayer please feel free to join us for these times.

6:00 pm The book of JOHN

The Alice Springs Baptist Church is currently seeking a Senior Pastor to join with us on our Christ led journey in Central Australia.
Strategically located in the centre of Australia; the ASBC shares God’s love with a culturally diverse and transient congregation and community.
We are seeking a leader who can capably lead a team and biblically teach a congregation of approximately 400.
The successful applicant will be a mature Christian with experience in a pastoral leadership role in a larger Church, demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills, theological beliefs consistent with a conservative evangelical Baptist Church and demonstrated ability and willingness to preach Biblically concise and relevant sermons.

This is a fun reminder for us all to not take ourselves too seriously. The ability to laugh at yourself comes from having a healthy view of yourself.

As Christians we know we are fearfully and wonderfully made in his image. We know that we are sinful by nature and in our decisions. And we know that God chose the foolish things of this world (that’s us) to shame the wise. We are capable of all sorts of silliness but by God’s grace that doesn’t define us.

Let’s take ourselves and our pride less seriously and be more excited about him and his Glory.
